Adelphi’s School of Education provides students with exciting opportunities to enter or further their professional careers. The School has doctoral and master’s level programs that share valuable academic and field experiences.
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers master’s in education programs in a range of teaching areas, including an M.A. in birth to grade 12 instruction. Our graduate degrees also allow students to earn a master’s for teaching within specialized areas, such as Mathematics Education or Educational Technology. Supervised clinical experiences are provided during certification programs, and advanced graduate studies are available in fields such as special education.
The Department of Exercise Science, Health Studies, Physical Education and Sport Management offers graduate degrees in fields such as teaching physical education and health education, as well as health promotion, exercise physiology and fitness management.
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders offers an M.S. in Communication Disorders. This accredited education program supports students in attaining both scientific knowledge and clinical practice experience.
