We work to create a community of scholars who have the confidence to become leaders in their schools and advocates for their students and communities.
Academic studies and clinical experiences combine to instill respect for and understanding of communication disabilities in all age, economic, and ethnic groups.
Students can pursue degrees in teaching health and/or physical education or train for non-teaching careers in fields related to community health promotion, sport management, youth development, fitness, or exercise.
“It’s very rewarding to see the immediate return of people recovering.”
