The Literacy Summer Institute affords teachers, coaches, coordinators, graduate students, administrators and allied professionals the opportunity to explore ways of motivating and engaging learners based on thoughtful/imaginative/interesting/ practical ideas. Participants will also have opportunities for networking, professional collaboration and exploring exhibits of materials and resources for classroom and clinical practice.
The institute will relate to five interwoven strands:
- Gateways to Literacy and Diverse Learners
- Telling Our Stories
- Technology as a Gateway to Literarcy
- Social-Emotional Learning
- Aesthetic Education as a Gateway to Literacy

Program Fees
Graduate Credit (3): $2280
Professional Development Full Institute (5 days): $485
Professional Development Daily Institute: $110/day
