Students should complete the Adelphi University application for undergraduate admission.

Degree Requirements

While this is done on a voluntary basis, it is expected of students. The service can be related to the department, University, community, or to a professional organization.

Students must maintain a GPA of 2.75 to fulfill student teaching requirements.

Graduating with Honors
To graduate with honors from Adelphi and the Department of Health Studies and Physical Education, students must take a minimum of 56 graded credits at Adelphi. These do not include pass/fail courses. The only exception is for students who do not have 56 graded credits because of student teaching. These students may petition the Registrar to have all grades counted.
