The Department offers a Master of Arts in Physical Education for students who already have New York State professional certification. The plan of study includes required and elective courses, and one 3-credit internship.

Depending on the student's relevant studies, the program ranges from 33 to 36 credits of which 21 credits must be in physical education.

Although the baccalaureate in physical education is recommended for admission, it is not required. Candidates will be reviewed on an individual basis and may be required to complete additional courses in order to earn the degree.
