HED 501: Dynamics Of Substance Abuse 3 credits Examines the problem of substance abuse by studying its psychological, legal, and pharmacological aspects. Various methods of prevention and rehabilitation will be explored. After taking this course, pre-service teachers will have the knowledge and skills to teach to the health education standards related to tobacco, alcohol, and other drug education.
