Upon entrance into the physical education program, each student will be assigned an adviser. In close consultation with the adviser, the student should prepare a tentative four-year program, including an area of emphasis.

Although the student is ultimately responsible for his or her own program, it is recommended that frequent consultations be made with the adviser (or any other faculty member). The faculty is here to help. Please feel free to make use of faculty members' expertise.

If a student wishes to change advisers in order to achieve greater advisement expertise in a desired area of emphasis, permission should be obtained from the new prospective adviser.
