Alice Brown Early Learning Center

The Alice Brown Early Learning Center offers a high quality child care program to faculty, staff, students, and families of the surrounding community. We use cutting edge early care and education practices to create an environment that fosters growth and development. We are committed to promoting excellence in early childhood teaching practices and encouraging professional growth in the center’s teaching staff, while providing students and faculty of Adelphi University with a lab school environment to pursue educational studies and research. Our state of the art facility opened in fall, 2008. It features large, bright, well equipped classrooms, as well as auxiliary space in the center of the complex for small group activities, an art studio, a parent lounge and student observation booths.
