Licensure and Certification

Teacher Certification in Health (Initial)
This certification allows students to teach Health classes to grades K through 12. Received upon completion of the master’s degree and passing all state tests.

Teacher Certification in PE (initial)
This certification allows students to teach Physical Education classes to grades K through 12. Received upon completion of the master’s degree and passing all state tests.

Advanced Certificate in Community Health Promotion
This advanced certificate program is designed to give students who have already attained a master’s degree in health studies or related fields the opportunity to specialize in community health promotion.
