English & Theatre

An understanding of how creative drama and theater strategies can enrich language arts instruction and engage adolescent learners is an important component of our English Education program.

We offer a dual certification track with a specific focus on educational theater for prospective English teachers with a sufficient background in theater arts.

English & Theatre Degree Available:

• M.A. in English Education with Dual Certification in English 7–12 and Theatre Pre-K–12
