Our view of learning is holistic: we believe values and personal growth should be nurtured along with knowledge and skills. This philosophy is enacted through the collaborative nature of our classrooms, our focus on creative expression and artistic exploration, and our commitment to engagement within the community.
Our goal is to create a community of scholars who know how to collaborate and have the confidence to become leaders in their schools and advocates for their students and communities. Our faculty and students immerse themselves in the community through service, fieldwork, and internships in the schools and community organizations we partner with.

Candidates begin the 37-credit program of study in June and complete all requirements by the following May leading to a Master of Art in Education and recommendation for initial New York State certification (grades 7-12) in their discipline.
