For students in the Scholar Teacher Education Program (STEP), two scholarship programs are available:
Students in STEP who receive a university-based academic scholarship as undergraduates will receive an academic scholarship for their graduate year.
STEP students who were not eligible for a scholarship upon admission to the university as undergraduates will be eligible for a $3,000 Graduate STEP Merit Award in their fifth year if they meet the following criteria:

A joint partnership with the Roosevelt and Westbury school districts, this Race to the Top grant program provides funding to qualified bilingual candidates who want to be certified as a science educator with a bilingual extension.
