Education & Labor Collaborative Forum 2009:
Teachers and the New "New Deal"

This Forum will provide an opportunity for educators and unionists to explore issues raised by this education and labor collaborative initiative, and to consider ways and means of implementing the products of such collaboration. The Forum will offer workshops and interactive dialogue sessions that provide examples of the sort of projects that could help us reach our goals of a public educated in its collective self-interest, and a teacher corps better prepared to provide such an education.

Fourth Annual Conference on Teaching for Peace and Human Rights

The purpose of this event is to provide a forum for teachers from around the world to collaborate on and bring international education issues to the forefront. Workshops will focus on helping teachers engage their students in global education issues while demonstrating how peace education can enhance curriculums.
