Supervised clinical experiences and research are conducted at Adelphi University's Hy Weinberg Center for Communication Disorders. The center serves children and adults with a variety of communication problems. Students enrolled in the M.S. degree program participate in a wide range of clinical activities, including diagnostic evaluations as well as both individual and group therapeutic intervention.
The Hy Weinberg Center for Communication Disorders houses laboratories containing instrumentation systems for the evaluation of speech and hearing. These laboratories enhance the quality of research, clinical training, and services provided at the center. Student clinical training performed on site emphasizes the application of current theoretical principles to the organization and administration of clinical procedures.
