The Doctor of Arts program prepares candidates for professional leadership roles in clinical administration and supervision, university teaching, and clinical research.
Adelphi created the first Doctor of Arts (D.A.) degree program in communication disorders, with a concentration in speech-language pathology, in the country.
Adelphi, in conjunction with Hofstra and St. John's Universities, offers a Doctor of Audiology program. Candidates in this Long Island Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Consortium can use the resources of all three schools, including labs, equipment, faculty, and externship sites.
