SPH 641: Differential Diagnosis Of Auditory Disorders II

This course will provide an in-depth discussion of the rationale, procedure, and interpretation of two electrophysiologic measures used in the differential diagnosis of the middle ear and verstibular portions of the auditory system: acoustic immittance audiometry and electronystagmography (ENG). Laboratory demonstrations will be provided. Case examples will be studied. Students will be required to perform laboratory exercises and demonstrate proficiency in the conduct and interpretation of each measure.
