SPH 636: Dysphagia: Evaluation And Management 3 credits This course will cover disorders of swallowing across the life span with emphasis on the adult population. The role of the Speech-Language Pathologist as part of the medical rehab team is considered. The course also reviews the dynamics of normal and disordered swallowing. Emphasis is placed on the technology necessary for the evaluation and treatment of dysphasia.
