SPH 610: Speech Disorders In Children 3 credits This is an intensive study of articulation and phonological development and disorders in children. Emphasis will be on clinical assessment and intervention. Special topics will include the role of phonological awareness skills in literacy acquisition, developmental apraxia of speech, and foreign accents/regional dialects.
