ELY 601: Professional Seminar I 1 credit This course introduces teachers to the responsibilities of literacy specialists in schools and clinical environments. Candidates will explore specialized resources available to professional literacy practitioners. Topics include standards and professional roles and responsibilities of literacy specialists, students learning standards, and the School of Educations core values. Candidates create electronic portfolios. Required for Advanced Certificate program.
