Community STEAM Workshop: Who Wants to Make a Gummy Bear Sing?

Event, Community Events

Turn everyday objects into musical instruments with the Makey Makey.

The Makey Makey is a small microprocessor that can help you turn everyday objects into musical instruments—no experience necessary to actually make a gummy bear or a banana sing! Who knew?

Stop by for few a minutes or stay for a while.

The STEAM Lab is a DIY collaborative learning and making lab where the community is invited to explore, tinker, create, and invent using a variety of tools and materials. Interdisciplinary by design, engagement in the space aims to support existing and emerging research and creative endeavors of students, faculty, administration and staff.

Have an idea for a workshop? We want to hear it! Contact Acting Associate Dean, Cindy Maguire at 516.877.4049 or cmaguire@adelphi.edu
