For students in the Scholar Teacher Education Program (STEP) program, two scholarship programs are available:
Students in STEP who received a university-based academic scholarship as undergraduates will receive an academic scholarship for their graduate year.
STEP students who were not eligible for a scholarship upon admission to the university as undergraduates will be eligible for a $3,000 Graduate STEP Merit Award in their fifth year if they meet the following criteria:

This program reimburses tuition (57 to 67 credits, including Child Development, Schools and Society, Health Prep, and SPH561). The Intensive Teacher Institute (ITI) in Bilingual ESL and Special Education is a tuition assistance program. You need school district support or superintendent signature to apply. The program supports preschool personnel as well. For more information, contact ITI at 631.286.6551.
