NYS Certification Exam Pass Rates

Teacher candidates who have completed their program of study at the Ruth S. Ammon School of Education have also been highly successful at passing their New York State Teacher Certification Exams. 

Over the past three years, program completers have had a 99% pass rate on the Liberal Arts and Sciences Test (LAST), and 99-100% pass rate on the Assessment of Teaching Skills – Written (ATS-W) exam. These are the two most frequently taken exams in the School of Education.

Pass rates across all other disciplines are consistently in the 90 – 100% range.
