The Ruth S. Ammon School of Education received notice of a full re-accreditation by the National Council for Teacher Accreditation (NCATE) as of June 2013 through 2019. This renews our original accreditation status, received in 2007 from the premier accrediting body for teacher and school leader education, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). In addition, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) awarded the Master of Science in Speech Pathology program the maximum accreditation for eight years, from 2013 to 2019.
The Ruth S. Ammon School of Education is also accredited by the New York State Education Department.
